Inspired by dogs, nature and the beautiful countryside, every design is carefully hand-painted and carved to create a miniature scene full of colour, texture and personality. It is more than simply a drinking mug — it is a little piece of functional art celebrating the bond we share with our four-legged companions.

Each Corgi pottery mug is hand-built completely from scratch in our Yorkshire workshop. From shaping and refining the clay to painting, carving, glazing and firing, every stage is completed by hand. Because of this slow, handmade process, no two Corgi mugs will ever be exactly alike.

You may notice gentle variations in shape, texture, carving, colour or glaze. Occasionally there may also be a tiny pinhole, glaze drip, slight variation around the rim or another small irregularity created during making and firing. These are natural characteristics of handmade pottery and are part of what makes every piece individual. The kiln has a personality of its own too! Glazes may pool, deepen, soften or move slightly differently during firing, meaning that even mugs featuring the same Corgi design will each have their own unique character. Every piece is carefully inspected before leaving our workshop to make sure it meets our standards. Your mug has been made from raw clay, shaped, decorated and finished by hand, carrying all the little details that make true artisan ceramics so special.
